- I have an obsession with cows.
- I love my family.
- I still haven’t figured out what I want to do when I grow up and reserve the right to become an astronaut, pirate or fireman with no notice.
- I moved to Israel when I was 23 by myself, with no family in the country.

- I once spoke to sherpas and scientists on Mt. Everest via satellite uplink as part of the E3 program. I asked the scientists how far a yak could go up, I don’t remember the answer but I remember that I made them laugh. The sherpas sang us a song though, which was pretty cool.
- I’ve gotten to pray with the Dalai Lama and I also had the honor to see him be awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor in Washington, D.C….I drove down in a van with a bunch of friends rotating driving and sleep so we could see him and then drive back the next day for our Classical Tibetan language class.
- I really, really, really dislike the color blue yet my life choices keep bringing me to areas that are heavily concentrated with that color (Israel, hopefully the Navy).
- My mother once showed Jaja Gibor my baby photo, Jaja then showed my mother pictures of her dogs (she was lost in Manhattan and asked my Mom for directions).
- There’s one woman in the entire world I would marry, she lives in Panama, we shared a bed, a bottle of wine and a rubber chicken together at our friends wedding in Boston.
- I once made a gay-for-pay porn-star blush outside of a sex club and porn studio while doing Sociolinguistic research on Gay Language Aggregation…I went home and wrote what happened down on my life’s to do list, and then immediately checked it off.
- I hate eggs.
- I was in Time Magazine for an article on Cyberporn, most people in my hometown told me thy were expecting me to make it for something like Cancer Research…everyone’s a critic.
- I wear Aqua di Gio by Georgio Armani exclusively.
- When I came out of the closet at the age of sixteen I did a mass postal mailing to everyone in my PDA using the mail merge feature in my word processor.
- I use only use Mac and Apple products for computing though I was raised in Windows household…I’ve converted my family members slowly, one by one, to come to the dark…I mean the light side…my Twin Brother is the last holdout.
- I’m an audiophile and wear headphones most of the day…it is my sincerest hope that there will be ipod compatible hearing aids when I get older.
- I once tried to be a vegetarian…
- …after a fight with some of my family members I recanted and then did the Atkin’s diet and lost 150lbs…
- I became a vegetarian again when I moved to Israel for a litany of reasons (first and foremost, to fight against the probable chance of getting Diabetes) and summarily because I grew a backbone years earlier.
- Before entering university I was enrolled at nine different schools.
- I have both skied, snowboarded and snowshoed many different mountains in Vermont and New York, as well as to class during the Thundersnow in Buffalo, New York.
- I have been to the emergency room many, many times for a myriad of mishaps that are really entertaining once everything’s said and done…and the bloods cleaned up.
- I hold a Certificate in Paralegal Studies, I am a TESOL/TEFL/TESL Certified Teacher, I am Research Participant Safety Training Certified by the NIH and I have a B.A. in Linguistics…I would like a Ph.D. in something related to Language Studies, a Language itself, or underwater interpretive basket weaving…I haven’t decided yet…but the next three things I’m going for are my certificate and license to become a massage therapist, and then the same so I can teach Yoga and then my Tour Guide license…which will allow me to lead wellness tours throughout Israel, which will eventually fund my Ph.D….this whole real world requiring money thing sucks…but there’s nothing quite like a morning stretch in the Negev.
- I hate vacations but I love trips…I don’t like laying around and being unproductive…I much prefer to scale mountains or take part in something that has some element of adrenaline in it.
- This doesn’t mean that I don’t de-stress, I just de-stress in productive ways…like Yoga, Pilates or Meditation, that are scheduled in my smart phone and synched with my website instantly.
- I once rode with my family to the farthest point from any road in the United States on horseback, it took us eight hours and fundamentally changed (and enhanced) my notion of God.
- My entire notion of religion was further transformed years later at a star show at the Museum of Natural History in New York City when I saw the rebirth of a star and I said “Wow…this is God.”.
- I have a Mom, a Dad, a Twin Brother and a Younger Brother.
- I have a Standard Poodle who is the best dog in the Universe.
- I have been sleeping with the same stuffed animal since I was six. He’s Eeyore. My Dad got him for me at Disney after I asked him if he would buy it for me, I was worried he wouldn’t because he was expensive ($20.00) and was elated when he did…he’s a lot flatter now though but still deeply beloved.
- I am the grandson of a holocaust survivor, I gave the second eulogy at his funeral, not a day goes by when I don’t miss him.
- My favorite smell on a guy is musk.
- I have legal names in the United States, Israel and Tibet (through the government in exile).
- I hold both U.S. and Israeli Citizenship.
- I was once in the newspaper so often one semester I had a professor ask me to stop after he said “I hear you, we get it…everyone gets it…for the love of God do I have to constantly see your name in print…” he was angry because he was teaching a Journalism class and I don’t like to write about other people, I like to be written about.
- I have been in love with the fictional detective Archie Goodwin since I was thirteen.
- I am a feminist, holding the radical notion that Women are people.
- One day I hope to own every book ever written by Rex Stout.
- I wear Converse sneakers and Birkenstocks…mostly Converse.
- I have played Piano in competition receiving (the three years that I compeeted) the marks of Outstanding, Excellent and Excellent, I received the mark of Outstanding my first year in competition which is almost unheard of (it being the highest rating one can receive in NYSSMA). I gave up Piano for Clarinet.
- I only shower at night.
- My favorite color is green.
- I lost my virginity on the floor of a bar in what I can only describe as one of the most amazing nights of my life…I was dating the bartender at the time…he was also my first kiss…well, with another guy.
- I love goths, preps, jocks, jar-heads, punks, geeks, skaters and everywhere in between…I have most ‘cliques’ represented in my circle of friends.
- I don’t invite all of my friends to the same parties because I know they won’t all get along.
- I don’t think governments are smart enough to have conspiracies.
- My favorite time of day is when the sky is still grey and the sun is about to come up any moment, experienced over the brim of a cup of black coffee, when everything is still quiet.
- I’ve worked drag to pay bills, I can dance, run, climb and jump in six inch stiletto heels…I can also hold my own with firearms.

- I wrote a a speech that was delivered on my behalf at a convention for reform Judaism in Florida, it made shock waves all the way to Africa.
- I gave the commencement speech years after graduating from the special high school I went to for kids with Tourettes Syndrome…I was never prouder of the teachers who actually taught me then I was on that day.
- I know that all the best business deals are made on a golf course.
- I have a Rabbi, a Reverend and a Priest I go to for advice…occasionally it also is the pretext for a bad joke.
- I have been on (at my last count) well over 80 flights.
- When I’m angry and having a fight with someone in my head (to role play how it would turn out) I gesticulate with my right hand in the air.
- I love tall men with stubble.
- I find perfume sales clerks too pushy.
- I prefer trains to planes, cars and busses.
